North Berwick Golf Club
From staging many of the legendary challenge matches of the 19th Century to hosting major events, including Final
Qualifying for the Open Championship, in the 21st North Berwick Golf Club has become of Scotland's most
celebrated golf courses.
At North Berwick, the 13th oldest course in the world you will find a traditional links course. Starting in the town
centre and stretching west along the shores of the Firth of Forth you will be amazed by the phenomenal views over sandy
beaches, rocky islands and the hills of Fife.
In addition to the spectacular seaside views, you will discover an amazing game of golf at North Berwick. Revetted bunkers
find you on every turn, blind holes are commonplace. Add to this drives over walls and thick burns and you have a
challenging course that begs to be tackled.
After finishing off the 18th hole enjoy a drink in the clubhouse. Just like other golfers have been doing, since 1879!
Built on the site of the old North Berwick road tollhouse the views here are even better than on the course. You can
choose from a light snack and a drink after your round to a full Sunday lunch or evening meal in the more formal surrounds
of the historic dining room.
If you are looking to hone your shot spend some time on the practice ground. With tight links turf, the Practice Ground
gives you a full range of shot options including a large putting green, two bunkers, designated pitching and chipping
areas, a purpose-built teeing area with full driving option and three raised target greens to complete a most comprehensive
practice facility.
At North Berwick Golf Club in Scotland you are not only seeing history, you are a part of it.
